Macka is a hardcore bowhunter. And “hardcore” in Australia means something totally different than it does stateside. For every species of animal we have here, there’s a corresponding animal Down Under that can KILL YOU. But Macka gets ‘em first.

Not many pack companies sponsor the guys behind the camera, but that’s because there’s not many guys like Rusty Weed. From Africa to Alaska, the guy has nerves of steel in the face of danger.

Mitch Murphy, from Whitetail Mafia: What about me? Put me in the woods with a stick and string, a gear-filled Timber Hawk pack, a fully charged camera, and watch me work! I love the woods and everything in it; take that away and I may as well have nothing.

Jason Mayes, from Whitetail Mafia: I am proud to be a hunter and enjoy my time in the outdoors. As a founder of this website I am dedicated to my passion of hunting and helping others to share that passion. There is nothing more relaxing than sunrise 20ft up in a tree on a cold fall morning… what more can you want in life?

Since I was a child, I always had to be outside. I have always had a passion for wildlife and the outdoors. After obtaining my BS in Wildlife Science, I worked for various state fish and wildlife agencies. After a few years, I decided that I needed to spend more time in the woods hunting in order to keep my sanity. Over the past few years I have guided, hunted, and trapped in Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Maine, Texas, and Montana. This year I will be guiding in Idaho.
